Why Play the Ukulele?
The ukulele is easy to learn and a great way to start making music. You don’t need to read music—most of us don’t! We offer a free beginners lesson every Tuesday from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM. Plus, we have spare ukuleles you can borrow for a few weeks to see if you enjoy it.

What to Expect
Our main jam session starts at 7:45 PM and runs until about 10:00 PM, with a weekly fee of £3.00 that supports Printers Playhouse. We have an ever-growing songbook with around 200 songs, and everyone gets a chance to choose a song to play each week. Experienced players often lead the songs, but you’re welcome to sing solo if you’d like—no pressure at all! Every few weeks, we hold a more intimate acoustic evening.

Join Us for Special Events
Throughout the year, we also perform at local events like street parties and holiday celebrations, always keeping the atmosphere light and fun.

Try Us Out!
Come and join the Army! Your first week is free, and you’ll be able to sing and strum along with the jam, even if you’ve never played an instrument before. We can’t wait to see you!
