The starting point for this piece was searching for an inspirational face online. It was an exploration of colour, form and brush stroke.
It was a leap outside my comfort zone, a test in overcoming that eternal self doubt and a lesson in finding the bravery to put my work out there for the first time ever.
This painting has become so much more than just a pretty face.
